It’s time for our annual tradition for me to practice carrying the entire show all on my own! SO! If you were thinking about moving to Taiwan, what would be the first thing that comes to mind!? Taiwan’s delicious food culture? Kind people everywhere that’s eager to help you with anything you need? Easy access to exploring the great outdoors? Well, we will be talking about none of that stuff this week; but rather I want to talk about something that James and I, as well as all our friends living in Taitung, had to deal with lately! Taiwan’s two biggest natural disasters - earthquakes and typhoons! This is not to scare you off or anything, I just figured there are all these great contents out there already about all the great things about Taiwan already, why not tell you about different topics that you will probably come across and deal with if you were to ever decide to live here! SO!!! Tune in if you would like to know what to expect and how to prepare for it!
又到了一年一度的<主持人自言自語單集>！今天沒有邀請任何特別來賓，也沒有要介紹任何景點或者是美食！這個禮拜*我*要來跟大家探討一下，關於住在台灣最常會遇到的自然災害！ 你猜對了！就是地震跟颱風！ 你是不是覺得為什麼要講這一些話題節目？我們不是應該著重於告訴聽眾朋友們關於台灣所有美好的事情嗎？嗯，是這樣子的最近這幾個月讓我體驗了人生第一次真正的颱風過境。而且上一次的颱風讓我們有一點措手不及，跟小時候在中部遇到的颱風經驗完全不一樣！真的讓我深深感受到做好防颱措施的重要性。所以我覺得若是有興趣想要搬來台灣的外國朋友們應該更了解如果常住在台關的話會遇到的這一些自然災害還有真的遇到的時候，怎麼樣去面對這些事情。
