三個宏都拉斯 Hondurus 的小常識：

宏都拉斯位於中美洲，面積大概是11萬平方公里，總人口大約為九百萬人。

Honduras is a country in Central America. It’s about 3 times the size and less than half the population of Taiwan.

他們的國旗其實就是地理位置的指標，兩邊的藍色條紋代表的分別是北鄰的加勒比海及南面的太平洋，而中間的白色條文象徵著國家的和平及和諧。

The flag of Honduras is made up of three equal horizontal stripes: blue, white, and blue. The blue stripes represent the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, which surround the country, while the white stripe represents peace and harmony.

由於16世紀時曾受過西班牙的殖民統治，宏都拉斯至今所用的官方語言是西班牙文。

Honduras was colonized by Spain in the 16th century, and Spanish is the country's official language as a result of this history.

位於宏都拉斯西部的 科班遺址是中美洲保存最完整的瑪雅文明古蹟，更被列為世界文化遺產之一。

The Mayan ruins of Copan, located in western Honduras, are considered to be some of the best-preserved Mayan ruins in Central America, and they are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
