三個坦尚尼亞 Tanzania 的小常識：

坦尚尼亞位於非洲東部，人口大約有5900萬人，面積大概是95萬平方公里，約為台灣的26倍大。
Tanzania is an East African country with an area of approximately 950K square kilometers and a population of around 59 million people.

由於曾受到德國和英國的殖民統治，以及長期與阿拉伯人和印度人貿易的影響，坦尚尼亞不但有將近130個民族，境內人口使用的語言也多達120種，其中最常用的就屬他們的官方語言 - Swahili 斯華西里語。

Tanzania's history of German and British colonization as well as influences from Arab and Indian traders has led to its linguistic diversity. As a result, Tanzania has over 120 ethnic groups, and more than 120 languages are spoken there, with Swahili being the national language. 

去到坦尚尼亞，你一定不能錯過它世界有名的自然風景。其中包括非洲最高峰吉力馬扎羅山、以及珊瑚礁密佈的潛水客聖地 - 桑給巴爾海灘。

The country boasts a wealth of renowned destinations that attract visitors from all over the globe. Among them are the towering heights of Mount Kilimanjaro and the pristine beaches of Zanzibar.

如果你想一睹知名的非洲五霸 - 非洲象、獅子、犀牛、豹及水牛，坦尚尼亞就是非洲獵遊的聖地，其中動物大遷席必經之地的塞倫蓋蒂國家公園更是讓全世界的遊客趨之若鶩。

Tanzania is known for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhinoceros), and is a popular destination for safari tours. The Serengeti National Park is also a must-visit if you want to witness the annual Great Migration.

三個瑞士 Switzerland的小常識：

瑞士位於歐洲中部，面積約4萬1千平方公里，人口約850萬人。

Switzerland is a country located in central Europe, with an area of approximately 41,290 square kilometers and a population of around 8.5 million people.

由於位於歐洲中心與多個國家國土相接，這些鄰近國家都有自己的語言和文化，造就了瑞士是一個多樣化族群和使用多種語言的國家。瑞士有四個官方語言：德語、法語、義大利語和羅曼什語。

Switzerland's multilingualism is due to its unique geography, history, diverse population and the fact it shares borders with several countries, each with its own language and culture. The country has four official languages, German, French, Italian, and Romansh.

瑞士以阿爾卑斯山著名，是滑雪勝地。也是許多國際機構的總部所在地，例如聯合國和國際紅十字會。

Switzerland is famous for the Swiss Alps, which are a popular destination for skiing. Switzerland is also the headquarters of many international organizations, such as the United Nations and the International Red Cross.

瑞士是眾多著名手錶品牌的故鄉，像是勞力士、百達翡麗以及Omega，瑞士同時也是世界頂尖的巧克力生產國，其中台灣人最熟悉的就是有馬特洪峰logo的三角巧克力、還有我自己最愛拿來搭配熱牛奶的舒查爾巧克力粉。

Switzerland is the home of many famous watch brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Omega. Additionally, it is one of the top chocolate producing countries in the world, with famous brands like Lindt, Toblerone, and Suchard.

瑞士的一些知名景點包括馬特洪峰、日內瓦湖、盧森市和少女峰，也很推薦大家去參加他們知名的音樂節，像是蒙特勒爵士音樂節和洛桑音樂節等。

Switzerland's famous attractions include the Matterhorn, Lake Geneva, the city of Lucerne, and the Jungfrau. Switzerland has many famous music festivals also, such as the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Lausanne Festival.

三個緬甸 Myanmar的小常識：

緬甸是位於東南亞的國家。面積大概是176萬平方公里，總人口約為5450萬人。

Myanmar, also known as Burma, is a country located in Southeast Asia. It has a total area of around 1.76 million square kilometers and is the 25th most populous country in the world.

無論是在文化上及當地人使用的語言上都反映了緬甸多元且漫長的歷史背景，像是他們的官方語言緬甸語就曾受到印度伊朗語族的巴利語及梵語的影響。由於曾經歷過英國的殖民統治的影響，至今許多緬甸人也會講英文。

Myanmar has a diverse mix of cultures and languages due to its long and complex history. The Burmese language, spoken by the majority Bamar ethnic group, has been influenced by Pali and other neighboring cultures, while English is also widely spoken due to periods of colonization by the British.

緬甸具有悠久的佛教傳統，至今佛教徒仍佔有總人口的九成，而在境內也能看見大大小小的廟宇及寺院供佛教徒來參拜。去到緬甸有機會一定要參訪蒲甘，這座被列為世界文化遺產的古城內有超過2000座以上的廟宇及佛塔。

Buddhism is the dominant religion in Myanmar, with an estimated 89% of the population identifying as Buddhist. There are many temples, monasteries, and other religious sites throughout the country that are important to Buddhists. Bagan in particular, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is home to over 2,000 Buddhist temples and stupas.

三個祕魯Peru 的小常識：

祕魯位於南美洲西部，面積大約128萬平方公里，是台灣的36倍大，總人口約3300萬人。

Peru is located in the western portion of South America, it is 36 times the size of Taiwan and the 4th most populous country in South America.

由於16-18世紀曾是西班牙的殖民地，祕魯人的母語是西班牙文

Due to the period of Spanish colonization from the 16th to the 18th century, the majority of Peruvians, approximately 84%, speak Spanish.

而他們的第二語言是克丘亞語，又稱印加語，顧名思義，是15-16世紀之間印加帝國的官方語言。

Today, there are still 13% of Peruvians who speak Quechua as a result of Inca civilization between the 15th and 16th century.

也因為西班牙人在16世紀時大量湧入，現在祕魯大部分的人種是歐洲人及美洲人的混血，又被稱為梅斯蒂所人。

About 60% of Peruvians are mestizos, and 25% of them are native Americans.

祕魯又被稱為馬鈴薯之鄉，是世界上第一個出產馬鈴薯的國家

Today you can find over 4000 varieties of native potatoes grown in the Andean highlands of Peru.
