三個澳洲Australia的小常識：

 

澳洲位於南半球中北部，面積大概是770萬平方公里，人口大約是2500萬人。

Australia is a sovereign country located in the mid-northern portion of the Southern Hemisphere. It is the 6th largest country in the world with a population of 25 million.

 

在澳洲，有將近90%野生動物像是無尾熊、袋鼠、丁格犬等品種都是澳洲獨有的。同時也是世界上最危險的動物像是太攀蛇或箱型水母的家。

90% of Australia’s indigenous species occur nowhere else, including Koala, Kangaroo, and dingo. It is also home to some of the world’s most dangerous animals like the boxing jellyfish and taipan.

 

澳洲有世界上最大的珊瑚礁系統，西邊的大堡礁總長有2300公里，總共有3000多個以上的珊瑚礁，是世界上唯一一個能從外太空看到的生態。

The Great Barrier Reef is regarded as the world’s largest living organism. It is the only living thing on earth visible from space.

 

 

雪梨歌劇院也是知名的澳洲地標，同時因為他特殊的建築設計，被聯合國教科文組織列為最年輕的世界文化遺產。One of the most popular attraction in Australia - Sydney Opera House is the youngest World Heritage Site due to its enduring influence on late 20th century architecture and beyond.
