A: I have no idea how to turn this PC on.

B: Are you kidding? I thought you were in trouble!

A: Well I am in trouble. I really need to type up my essay, but I have no idea how to

switch your computer on!

B: Can you see that square button on the top of the case?

A: This one here? I tried pressing that but nothing happened.

B: Yes. That is the power button. Have you turned on the power at the wall?

A: Do you mean at the electrical outlet?

B: Yes. And did you even plug it in?

A: No, I didn’t’ think of that. Why do you unplug it when you turn it off?

B: If you unplug it then it is safer and it saves electricity.

A: Really? I had no idea!
