▲三個香港小常識：

 

香港位於台灣的西南方，面積大約為2800平方公里，人口大約為750萬人。Hong Kong is to the south west of Taiwan, it is the 1/13th the size and ⅓ the population of Taiwan.

 

香港早期是英國的殖民地，在1841年鴉片戰爭時， 中國割讓香港給了英國，因此現在的生活、街道、飲食、都留下了許多英式文化的軌跡。官方語言是廣東話以及英文，比較特別的是，香港和台灣一樣也是使用繁體中文。

As a result of the british colonizaton after the first opium war, there are hints of british culture influence in the daily lives of Hong Kong citizens in modern days. Most noticeably, English is listed alongside Chinese as their official languages.

 

香港曾經在1960-1990期間，和台灣、韓國、新加坡，這四個發展迅速的經濟體，被並稱為亞洲四小龍。對於國際旅客來說，也是飛往亞洲重要的轉機點之一。是在亞洲地區，集合商業、文化、貿易的國際大都會，也被稱為「東方之珠」。

Hong kong was one of the four economic entities within the “four asian tigers”, also known as Newly Industrial Economics. With its nickname “Pearl of the Orient”, it is commonly recognized as an international business and trading hub with many fundamental strengths.
