3 - 「音樂點線面」

本集單元為「音樂點線面」(播出日期 2023/09/29)：guitar riff （吉他短樂句）向來是吉他手必學的一項演奏入門，但數十載的流行歌曲與搖滾樂發展下來，哪些成為經典樂章、而其歌曲背後的故事和發展為何成了本集的介紹焦點。

為了呼應本單元長期開拓耕耘「取樣」的精神，節目一開始先示範了如何透過Free loop 以及網路資源Sample.com的搜尋、讓聽眾可以透過選擇Bpm與調整pitch跟速度等參數，自行嘗試、自己創作簡單的guitar riff，再由此延伸出經典歌曲裡的吉他短樂句、以及這些短樂句後來如何成為現今流行歌曲的取樣對象。包括Imani Coppola的「Naked City (Love to See U Shine)」取樣了Daryl Hall & John Oates 在1973年的「Las Vegas Turnaround」的guitar riff、Destiny's Child的「Bootylicious」取樣了Stevie Nicks在1981年的「Edge of Seventeen」、Stardust的「Music Sounds Better With You」取樣了Chaka Khan在1981年的「Fate」。下半段一開始則先聽到1983年The Clash的「Rock the Casbah」的guitar riff被Will Smith取樣出用在歌曲「Will 2K」中、Deep Purple 的作品經典「Smoke on the Water」的guitar riff被取樣用在Fun Lovin' Criminals的歌曲「Bombin' the L」中，Red Hot Chill Peppers的演奏曲「Pretty Little Ditty」吉他短樂句被取樣用進Crazy Town的「Butterfly」，以及Tracy Chapman的成名曲「Fast car」的guitar riff被取樣用在女歌手Gabrielle的「Dreams」裡。
