活到老學到老的學習精神 - 遠從美國來太學中醫的 Noah & Will Part 1
人客來坐 My Taiwan Story
My grandpa was a Chinese Medicine doctor. I grew up running around my grandpa’s house where he often would be roasting Chinese medicinal herbs in his little herb room and the air would just be filled with the strong robust aroma of all the different kinds of herbs. I especially remember always sneaking a bite of herbal Licorice from the herbal medicine drawers as if it were candy. I have a special spot for Chinese medicine. However, I knew from a very early age that I was not cut out to be a doctor of any sort haha. So today we’ve invited two Americans, Noah & Will who came to Taiwan to study Chinese Medicine at China Medical which makes both of them my Dad’s 學弟！We will talk about their experience of what it’s like to study Chinese Medicine here in Taiwan. If you’ve ever wondered, do you have to know how to speak Mandarin in order to study Chinese Medicine? How does Chinese medicine actually work? Do you get to poke needles in people’s bodies all day long? Well, you’ve come to the right place! We will answer all of that and more! Join us for this two-part series on this fascinating subject!
