媽媽們生產後坐月子,對臺灣人來說現再平常不過的事了。外國朋友們來到臺灣生小孩子,這時候會嘗試坐月子這種東西嗎？在臺灣生小孩子跟在國外,有很大的差異嗎？
這個禮拜邀請了三位住在臺灣的外國朋友們,一起來探討自己的問題！ 很高興邀請到來自美國的臺灣媳婦Amy，來自新加坡的巧玲媽咪，以及爸爸團的美國代表 Robert 一起分享他們個人的經驗。如果你身邊有未來的新手爸爸媽媽外國朋友們，非常推薦他們聽這一集來收集一下一些helpful tips!
Postpartum Care is very common in Taiwan where new parents can choose from professional postpartum care nursing centers, hire a live-in postpartum caretaker, or invite their mother-law to stay to help take care of the baby at their own home. Sometimes it’s even given as a gift package by the grandparents to the new moms and dads to ensure that they can adjust to parenthood with ease. I know in some of the high Asian population areas back in the States, they even have special postpartum food delivery services with menus designed to help new moms recuperate and restore. I think this is such a fascinating subject for other people that do not have this in their own culture so This week we’ve invited three guest panelists， Amy, Ling巧玲, and Robert to share about both having a baby and their postpartum care experiences in Taiwan! If you are about to become a parent yourself, this is a great episode to get some helpful tips and pointers from our guests.
*Amy is an instructor for TAITRA and she is from the United States. Amy and her husband have an adorable son who was born in Taiwan.
*Ling 巧玲 works as an ESG analyst. She is from Singapore and Ling and her husband have two adorable kids who are both born in Taiwan as well.
*Robert is from the United States. He and his wife also own a very successful leather accessory business called Marcello Bamboo Woven Leather. Rober actually is a homeschool Dad I've already made a pack with him to make sure he gets invited back for another episode to share what that's like~
